The Council has selected you for sentencing to atone for the above-listed crime. You are directed to turn yourself in within two (2) hours of receiving this message, or you will be forcibly detained. You are to meet the Council's representative outside of City Hall in order to respond to this summons.
[Knives will find Jerry standing in front of the City Hall, hands folded behind his back and posture straight. There's a stern expression on his face as he waits for Knives to arrive.]
You have arrived. Good. Let us proceed. [And with that said he steps aside and gestures at the door with his hand.]
[regarding jerry with a look that would kill if it weren't a completely foolish idea, knives says nothing in response beyond a narrowed, irate look.
maybe he shouldn't have come, but the alternative might have played out poorly. so, here he is. he'll play along to see what this sentencing is really all about.
he walks up the steps, pausing only to watch jerry with a turn of his head and the flicker of something simmering in his eyes as he passes him by to head for the door.]
[this one's dramatic. but not necessarily annoying yet, so Jerry will take what he can get.
he closes the door as they both walk into City Hall, which might be suspiciously empty. if Knives has nothing to say... Jerry won't say anything either as he keeps leading him.]
[suspiciously empty, knives eyes his new surroundings as he follows after jerry. having heard whispers of punishments and sentencing, he had expected more than... this.
[if that is supposed to be a joke, he isn't laughing.
if there are others here, unbeknownst to knives, it only gives him more reason to be on guard. was this due to the 'magic' of this world? the same magic that could find him if he were to leave right here and now?

[Knives won't remember much after Jerry closes the door and the room goes dark. He may remember feeling judged, and voices from people he can't remember the faces of. He doesn't remember much, but he does remember the most important part:]
